Mercedes-Benz offers three ranges of trucks:

Mercedes-Benz Atego

Primarily designed as a distribution truck, adept at manoeuvering in narrow city streets and able to cope with country roads, the Atego has evolved to suit a multitude of applications. It's compact dimensions and superb handling make it an agile performer. Durable, economical and robust; you can rely on the Atego day after day. Some features include:

• European comfort and safety
• Low entrance, wide-opening doors and easy through-cab access makes getting in and out of the cab easier.
• Four-cab variants with an all-new interior design, including the ergonomically optimised luxury air-sprung drivers "Grammer" seat.
• All new 6-cylinder in-line engines with Mercedes Telligent engine management system which actually consumes less fuel than its predecessor.
• Weight-optimised 9-speed direct-drive transmission.
• Option of 3 transmissions: Telligent automatic, manual and the Allison 6-speed fully automatic.

Mercedes-Benz Axor

The new Axor is a hybrid truck, made up of the Atego cabin and the Actros chassis. It is noted for it's off-road capabilities, medium-distance haulage and heavy-duty distribution in the weight category from 18 to 26 tonnes. With a durable, economic and powerful 6-cylinder engine, robust design and long service intervals - the Axor is built to last. Rigid trucks are availble as well as prime movers. Some features include:

• European comfort and safety.
• Choice of 4 cabs, including large cabs for more space up front and smaller cabs for increased payload.
• All new 6-cylinder in-line engines with Mercedes Telligent engine management system which actually consumes less fuel that its predecessor.
• Standard 9-speed direct-drive transmission allows straightforward gear changes. Optional Telligent automated gear-shift in conjunction with the 16-speed transmission makes gear changes even easier.
• The 4 x 4's are perfetly suited as spreaders in the agricultural industry.

Mercedes-Benz Actros

2010 sees the Australian release of the Actros III. The all new Actros has a total of 38 product enhancements in terms of economy, comfort, design and safety. It has been voted 2009 European Truck of the Year. It is the optimum economical solution for a multitude of transport tasks. The tried-and-tested technology at the heart of the previous version has been further modified and supplemented by a boost of technical enhancements. Not to mention an all-new interior concept that places the emphasis firmly on driver comfort and convenience. Some features include:

• Powerful V6 and V8 engines. Choose from 5 output classes for the V6 and 2 options for the V8
• Twin bellows air suspension with provides higher payload and improved handling dynamics
• Telligent level control for improved raising and lowering of the frame
• Telligent gear shift cleverly positioned on the driver's seat comes as standard
• New braking system which comes with ABS and ASR (traction control) for outstanding stopping power
• Lane Assist which takes safety to a new level
• Exterior refinements including new ornamental grille, three-section sun screen, and two-part exterior mirrors
• Interior refinements such as upgraded instrument panel, new seat upholsteries, luxury bed, rain and light sensors, new shaving mirror and hand towel rail
• Multifunction steering wheel that enables driver to operate the radio, telephone, and driver information system without taking their hands off the wheel
• Spacious cabs featuring air-sprung suspension seat, air-conditioning, spring-core mattress and ample stowage
